Single and multi-line take-ups are used to level wind wire onto a spool.  A common capstan pulls wire through annealing or coating lines and sets a precise line speed.  Independent spindle drives and traverse guides take up wire from the capstan while ensuring a level wind with constant torque.  Independent load cells can provide even more precise tension control for demanding applications.
