Online cutters cut precision lengths of supported or unsupported extrusion to length at line speed. Tight tolerances are maintained by using high precision servo pullers and optional length verification sensors. Saws are used for supported extrusions, and include profile clamping and wet cut for high quality PE splice applications. Unsupported extrusions are cut using pneumatic shears. Optional sorting conveyors verify cut length and use 2 or 3-way sorting to guarantee cut pieces meet specifications.
